The Delaware African and Caribbean Affairs Commission was created to promote the welfare and interests of all people of African descent who reside in Delaware. Their vision is to provide a platform for promoting the cultural and historical heritage of the people of African descent. As well to facilitate the socioeconomic relationship between the African and Caribbean countries, citizens, and residents.
When designing their logo, I used the hand to symbolize strength, power, and protection. It can also symbolize “lending a hand” in providing a platform for Delaware residents.
